Reimagining Global Health Partnerships

As disruptions to traditional funding models reshape the global research ecosystem, Kenya stands uniquely positioned to lead innovative health research collaborations across Africa. Recent shifts in international funding patterns present opportunities for South-South partnerships and locally-driven research agendas that prioritize community needs over donor priorities. Our organization has developed robust infrastructure for conducting rigorous health systems research, including community-based participatory methods that ensure research benefits directly translate to improved health outcomes. We are actively seeking partnerships with international research institutions, multilateral organizations, and progressive foundations interested in co-creating knowledge rather than extracting data. Our team brings deep contextual understanding of Kenya's health landscape, established relationships with county governments and health facilities, and a track record of ethical community engagement. We offer collaborative opportunities in non-communicable diseases, infectious disease surveillance, mental health integration, maternal and child health innovations, and health workforce development. By partnering with us, international collaborators gain authentic community connections, ethical research practices rooted in local values, and opportunities to contribute to research that genuinely serves African populations.
